VinREAD Africa

VinREAD Africa stands for Venture in Research for Agricultural Development in Africa. It is a project of The Agro-Youth Centre envisioned to raise young agricultural researchers who will contribute to agricultural development in Africa through research. The project will bridge the gap between old and young professionals in Agricultural Research for Development.

The concept is a week-long residential programme for selected young researchers/scientists across in Agriculture and related fields with several sessions facilitated by seasoned faculty of experts in different fields of Agriculture. The project will target young people with clear vision of what they can do to contribute to agricultural development in Africa and have proven ideas on how to achieve it.

VinREAD Africa will be a yearly event and will build a network of alumnus to track the progress of young people previously trained in the programme. It is a fully sponsored event.
